We're home!!

Hi everyone!

Just another quick note to share that we made it home from the hospital on Thursday night (praise God!). Thursday and Friday were full of adjustments and learning new rythyms and routines, and we have been surrounded by family and friends who have made the adjustment as easy as possible.

It’s fantastic to be away from all the beeping, buzzing, poking, and prodding at the hospital (!!) and yet it’s a little scary to be away from their watchful attention. But overall, we are so thankful to be home.

We’ll share more detailed updates likely sometime next week (we have a follow-up appointment Monday and hope to learn more about the pathology of the tumors that were removed on the 16th) but in the meantime, we plan to enjoy some family, friends, and football today and best of all, Maddie is now HOME so we’re having plenty of fun being reunited with our joyful toddler after 10 days apart 
