Vaccine Tomorrow!

Hi everyone!

We wanted to update you all because TOMORROW, Lord willing I will be receiving a vaccine that was produced from my cancer tumor. -- If that sentence is not a picture of redemption, I don't know what is. I more and more am coming to believe that somehow, through Christ -- all evil, pain, and suffering in this world will be redeemed. And that we get to see some of it this side of heaven. Vaccines are one of those things -- Taking something "evil" (disease) and turning it on its head to actually fight the disease.

Here is a link to an article about my friend from high school, Catie, who was "patient zero" for this basket clinicall trial, and who the Lord used to even make us aware of a vaccine being a possible option for me!

Jonathan and I will drive up tomorrow morning, and I honestly don't know much of what the appointment will entail, except that I will receive my first dose of the the vaccine.

Thank you for all who have prayed for this -- for the researchers and pathologists and doctors who are working on this Trial!

We are excited and we are HOPEFUL.

Outside of this, I am continuing to gain strength, and Jonathan continues to be the Rock of our family.

We really enjoyed Christmas, spending time with both sides of the family, and celebrating Maddie turning 4! (see pictures below!) This in itself is such an answered prayer -- so thank you Lord.

Please pray for safety tomorrow as we drive to Greenville, and for Christ to be glorified!

We feel so thankful to be surrounded by you all during this season of enduring. We are seeing more and more normalcy but still would love prayer for continued healing and continued endurance!
