  • Hey everyone! Last week in Houston went well! - I was able to stay at my sister's friend's neighbor's house Saturday night. Which is incredible as we just continue to see peoples' kindness toward us.

  • Two minutes into my appointment on Monday, after the PA Olivia shared about the scan, I looked at Jonathan, we both gave a sigh of relief, and I stretched out my am for a subtle fist bump. No surprises. Stable Cancer. Immnotherapy 'keeping it at  bay'  After the sigh of relief our surgeon came in to talk with us more. While cancer is stable, she is still directing us toward thinking about surgery. (Suggesting surgery in the Fall.) In the days being back, we have felt a calm -- truly trusting that God will guide our decisions with this. 2022 Kelly would be riddled with fear and not knowing what was going to come next. Yet through Surgery #1, Chemo/immunotherapy, and other decisions, God has [weirdly... amazingly] made things clear. So we are waiting on him. I will likely see an Emory surgeon in the next month to seek his opinion, and may seek an additional opinion. In the meantime, I am continuing immunotherapy every 3 weeks. We are praying that God will show us what the next step is.    Thank you all for continuing to walk this journey with us. -- The number of people who God prompts to pray for us is humbling and supernatural. It feels the most human to be connected with others in a way that glorifies and acknlowledges God. And then I am often just stunned that this gets to be reality- That God communes with us, through us, and that that gets to be forever. So thanks for giving us tastes of heaven. As our pastor mentioned in a sermon a month or two back "I want to be friends permantently with you all." And the Gosepl made a way for that.  For previous posts, check the original Blog post on this site (the post right before this one!)
